About Hifaithness: My journey and approach

My path to faith-based counselling

My journey into counselling began with general practice in Nigeria, where I first obtained my  Counselling certificate. I opened my private practice in 2023 and a few months later, in 2024, I received a scripture from God, Proverbs 20:5 (KJV) – "Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out" – which became a powerful calling. This verse affirmed my purpose and solidified my commitment to this path.

My desire to deepen my knowledge led me to pursue a master's in psychology in the UK. While studying, I always held a profound belief in God's guidance.  I believe we all have a divine purpose, and fulfilling God's will in our professions is a vital part of our earthly assignment. With my MSc degree in psychology, I feel deeply honoured and compelled to follow this vocational calling.

My unique faith-based approach

What sets my approach apart at Hifaithness is the integration of knowledge, experience, purpose, and unwavering faith. For me, counselling is far more than just a profession; it is a profound calling that I embrace with utmost seriousness. I am dedicated to offering support with deep compassion, genuine professionalism, and an authentic commitment to doing this sacred work exceptionally well.

My faith profoundly shapes how I understand healing, personal growth, and the intricate dynamics of relationships.  My heartfelt hope is to thoughtfully, respectfully, and meaningfully weave together professional counselling with spiritual faith for each person, offering them the unique opportunity to embrace counsel directly from Love Himself (God).

Who I help and positive change

I believe I can offer something meaningful to anyone willing to embark on a journey of self-exploration and growth. While Hifaithness currently focuses on relationship, marriage, and premarital counselling, my support is not limited to these areas. Every individual has a unique story, and my role is to meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you.

Positive change often takes time; counselling is not a quick fix, and the pace and impact of change will differ for everyone. Sometimes, it begins with a subtle shift in perspective, a newfound sense of self-awareness, or simply having a safe, confidential space to be truly heard. As a Christian, I firmly believe that by keeping God—Abba—at the very centre of our lives, our relationships, and our decisions, we can cultivate a deeper, more enduring foundation for profound growth, lasting healing, and transformative change.
